Moodle Learning Platform

A learning platform you own, not one you rent.

Self-hosted Moodle for organizations that want control over their learner data. We handle hosting, Microsoft 365 single sign-on, branding, enrollment, and the ongoing administration so your team can focus on the training, not the technology.

Custom-built and documented. Yours to keep.

When off-the-shelf training software stops fitting

Subscription learning platforms are easy to start and hard to live with. The per-seat cost climbs as you grow, your learner data sits in someone else's cloud, and the moment you need something specific, you are told it is not on the roadmap. The integrations and single sign-on you actually want often turn out to be locked behind a hidden enterprise tier.

A self-hosted Moodle platform flips that. You get a mature, proven learning management system on infrastructure you control, customized to how your organization actually trains, with no per-seat tax on growth and no question about who owns the data. We run this exact stack ourselves, so we are deploying something we trust, not experimenting on your account.

Single sign-on with Microsoft 365

For most teams the deciding factor is login. Moodle integrates with Microsoft 365 through the OpenID Connect and Office 365 plugins that Microsoft maintains directly, so learners use the credentials they already have, your multi-factor and conditional access policies still apply, and access is governed from the same identity you use for everything else. It is the highest-value piece to get right and the easiest to get subtly wrong, which is why we treat it as core to the build rather than an afterthought.

Branded so it feels like yours

Out of the box, Moodle looks like Moodle. We apply a modern theme styled with your logo and colors, customize the login page, and configure branded PDF certificates that learners earn on completion. The result is a platform that carries your identity end to end instead of advertising the software underneath it.

Getting people into the right courses

An LMS is only useful if the right people are actually enrolled. We set up cohorts to group learners by team, role, or program, configure roles so instructors and administrators have the right access, and use bulk enrollment so onboarding does not mean adding people one course at a time. New staff can flow into a training track automatically as part of how you already onboard them.

Content that does more than play a video

Moodle handles the real range of training content: native SCORM and xAPI packages, H5P interactive video with questions embedded in the timeline, quizzes, and assignments. That includes video-submission assignments, where a learner records and uploads their work and an instructor reviews and grades it by hand, which is the make-or-break feature for any training that needs to confirm someone can actually do the thing, not just click through slides.

Who it's for

Organizations that train staff, partners, or customers and care where the data lives: regulated employers, membership and certification bodies, and any team that has outgrown a generic subscription LMS or gotten tired of fighting its seat minimums.

What we deliver

Self-hosted, your data

Your courses and learner records live on infrastructure you control, not a vendor cloud that mines your data or raises prices at renewal. No per-seat tax on growth.

Microsoft 365 single sign-on

We wire up the Microsoft-maintained OpenID Connect and Office 365 integration so learners sign in with the M365 credentials they already have, and you govern access centrally through your existing identity.

Branded to your organization

A modern theme customized with your logo, colors, and login screen, plus branded completion certificates, so the platform reads as yours rather than a generic open-source install.

Users, roles, and enrollment

We set up cohorts, roles, and bulk enrollment so the right people land in the right courses automatically, whether you are onboarding a team of five or a few hundred.

Content that does real teaching

Native SCORM and xAPI, H5P interactive video with embedded questions, and video-submission assignments your instructors can review and grade by hand. Not just slideshows that auto-advance.

We run the platform

Hosting, updates, backups, security patching, and monitoring handled by us. Your team builds courses and manages learners while we keep the servers current and healthy.

Frequently asked questions

Why Moodle instead of a SaaS LMS?

Moodle is open-source and self-hosted, which means you own your learner data, avoid per-seat pricing that punishes growth, and can shape the platform to your training instead of bending your training to fit a product. For organizations with privacy or compliance requirements, that control matters, and there are no hidden enterprise tiers gating the features you actually need.

Can it use our Microsoft 365 logins?

Yes, and it is one of the strongest reasons to run Moodle. Microsoft itself maintains the OpenID Connect and Office 365 plugins, so learners sign in with their normal M365 credentials, multi-factor and conditional access still apply, and you manage who has access from the same place you manage everything else. This is the step that takes the most care to configure correctly, and it is exactly the part we handle.

How do learners get added to courses?

We set up enrollment so it runs itself. Cohorts group people by team, role, or program; bulk enrollment loads everyone in at once; and roles control who is a learner, an instructor, or an administrator. New hires can be dropped into an onboarding track without anyone hand-adding them course by course.

Can it look like our brand?

Yes. We apply a modern theme styled with your logo and colors, customize the login screen, and issue branded PDF certificates on course completion. Learners experience your platform, not a default Moodle skin.

What kinds of content can it run?

Native SCORM and xAPI packages, H5P interactive video with questions built into the timeline, quizzes, and assignments, including video-submission assignments where a learner records themselves and an instructor reviews and grades the work. You are not limited to passive click-through content.

Do we have to manage the servers?

No. We handle hosting, updates, backups, and security patching, and we monitor the platform so issues get caught early. Your team focuses on building courses and managing learners while we keep it running and current.

Can you migrate our existing courses?

In most cases, yes. During scoping we look at what you have today and map out a migration plan. Tell us your current platform and content format and we will give you a clear picture.
