Malware that harvests saved passwords, browser cookies, and session tokens from a machine and sends them to the operator.
Infostealers are the quiet engine behind a large share of breaches. They typically arrive through a cracked software download or a malicious ad, run once, scrape everything the browser has saved, and exit. The victim usually never notices anything happened.
