Microsoft Intune

Microsoft's cloud service for managing and securing laptops, phones, and tablets.

Intune enrolls devices, pushes configuration and applications, enforces encryption and patch levels, and can wipe company data from a lost device. It reports compliance back to Entra ID so conditional access can act on it.

Plan 1 covers core management and is included in Business Premium, E3, and E5. Plan 2 and the Intune Suite add advanced capabilities, several of which moved into E3 in the July 2026 packaging update.
